This auction is for a 1980's Charvel Model 1 that is all original specs with the exception of the finish and tremolo bar. The volume pot has been modified with push/pull control so the original J90C Humbucker can be split from humbucking to single-coil and back for more versatility in sound. The plastic solid pickup cover has been removed, but I will include it with the guitar. This guitar plays beautifully and the frets are in good shape for their age. The guitar was expertly refinished by renowned custom guitar painter Dan Lawrence at GMW Guitarworks. Did I say the finish is flawless? You can tell by the mirror-like reflections in the pictures. The finish alone was $230 and I will include the original receipt from GMW. Please bid only if you're a serious player, as this guitar is ready to rock! Shredding is effortless and chords sound chunky and raw as they should. Back in the 80's, this was the ultimate players guitar both on stage and in the studio.
