This guitar plays.

She's factory original in every way. Model 4s are great looking guitars, especially this one. 
This axe is a player. She's used but not abused. Sharkfin mother of pearl inlays look very cool. The infamous Charvel pointy headstock is fully intact and looks great. As far as function, everything works. Play it the moment it arrives. What's most refreshing about this guitar is that all the electronics within the control cavity haven't been butchered and modified and "customized." Everything is there and functioning properly. 
The Model 4 came equipped with identical electronics/pickups package as the flagship neck-through Model 6 (pickups reserved for ONLY  Models 4 & 6). The J50BC humbucker in the bridge position can be warm, thick, and nasty. The neck and middle J200s (remember J200s are bi-level stacked humbuckers, NOT single-coils like many assume) offer a multitude of tonal qualities from the cleanest clean like a single-coil to that bouncy, bright tones of stacked humbuckers. Lastly, the JE-1200 pre-amp active mid-boost circuitry makes these pickups just scream! The on-off toggle switches give the player a myriad of sound options to fit most any style.
A great looking, great playing, wildly versatile guitar mated to arguably the most comfortable neck ever made. Just a month ago, here on eBay, I saw a Pearl White Model 4 with a seriously huge blemish (putting it politely) right through both the Pearl White and the refrigerator white primer/base coat bid up to, and sell for, $720. This guitar likely plays better, certainly looks better, and can be yours for less.
Included in this auction is a period-correct Charvel SafeCase (more commonly known as "Chainsaw Case"). It has two present and functioning latches. All three hinges in the back are there and working as well.
