Ever dream of being around back in the day these were made? Ever dream of finding a Charvel Model Series Model 4 brand new? Well guess what, you just did. That's what this guitar is. It's like brand new. 
The story about this guitar its immaculate condition. It looks as though it was built yesterday. An incredible statement considering it is 24-years-old. It has got it all. From the active JE-1200 pre-amp to the mother of pearl shark fin inlays. And it's all perfect. The Cobalt Blue factory paint is simply gorgeous. This is a beautiful guitar. The infamous Charvel pointy headstock is flawless, just as it was the day it was made 24 years ago. The first three frets are as new looking as the rest. It still has it "Made In Japan" sticker on the neckplate, which is not easy to find - and this one is perfect. If there ever was a Charvel Model Series museum, this would be the Charvel Model 4 on display.
As you'd expect with it's incredible condition, everything works. Pickup selector switches, pickups, volume and tone pots & knobs, and the pre-amp which gives all Model 4s that extra punch. The nut shows zero signs of wear, nor does the JT-6 tremolo.
For those few of you who actually read this stuff, I saved the absolutely best and most valuable part for last. Sure, she's pretty but she plays, too. She sounds very very nice and feels just like a brand new guitar. She's a rocker that's never been out on a date. I'd get a bid in early or you might be kicking yourself for months - maybe years - trying to a Charvel Model Series guitar in this condition again (good luck with that).

***Additionally, there is an original, factory-correct CMC-100 SafeCase available (more commonly referred to as a "Chainsaw Case") to the winning bidder for an additional $75 - at the bidder/winner's option. It can be added to your invoice at YOUR discretion. You do NOT have to buy the case if you buy the guitar. We are just making it available if you want it. The case has 3 of 4 original latches, including the latch that allows for a small padlock to be used to further secure the guitar. All of the original hinges are present and work great; one is very slightly loose but not major. It's in really good shape. It fully functions and does its job of protecting the guitar very well.***Again, the case is optional. Not mandatory, not included.***
