Trying to find a Model Series Charvel that hasn't been in some way, or ways, molested is no longer easy these days. More often we find pickups, knobs, nuts, trems and even finish all changed out and fed to us as "improvements". Yeah. 
Gimme that scratchy, biting, raunchy harder rock sound that only comes from these classic Model 1s equipped with the punch of the factory original J90C humbucker and bounce off the maple fretboard over any "improvement" any day.
The Model 1s were very popular when sold new. They were arguably the best guitar then available for the price. The fit and finish are truly remarkable for that price point and still today represent the greatest values. And they rock out. Equipped with a single (bridge) Jackson J90C humbucker designed for what Charvel called "Clearer Distortion". It screams. It's these things that have given Japanese Model Series Charvels, built between 1986-88, their reputation for being among the finest imports ever made.
This Jackson/Charvel Red Model 1 is in great condition and plays beautifully. It wants to play.
Included is a black generic hardshell case. The case has all the latches and hinges present and working perfectly. The exterior has some appearance issues but otherwise it fully functions and still does its job of protecting the guitar very well.
