Purchased from the original owner about 2 years ago, this is the top of the line Soloist made in Japan. Improvements over the previous Model 6 Charvel include a bound Ebony fretboard, easier to use 5 way switch and overall fit & finish is much more refined. I don't know what alloy they used for the frets but it is silky smooth. Sustain is great and separation of notes is distinct even with distortion. If bidding hits $700 I will include a new TKL, locking hard case. Otherwise guitar will be carefully packed & shipped in soft case. Shipping includes insurance.
Overall condition is Excellent to Near Mint (and I don't mean "for a 20 year old guitar"). You will be hard pressed to find a Soloist in this condition. There area couple of small indents in clearcoat below the trem in the shape of the tip of the tremolo bar (couldn't get it to show up in the photos, only shows in raking light).
There couple of minor paint touch ups. See pictures. Use the zoom feature to see these clearly. There are a couple of clearcoat scratches in the "buckle rash" area and a few small ones on the metal trem cover. Very minor. Tip of headstock is excellent. Very clean guitar.
