This model is one of the 5 styles produced and is a pink spiderweb design. There are only 20 of these guitars worldwide, so this is a real chance to pick up a piece of Jackson/Charvel history at a knock down price.

In November 1978, Wayne Charvel sold his company he founded earlier that decade, Charvel's Guitar Repair, to one of his employees, Grover Jackson. Jackson promptly began building highly regarded electric guitars bearing the Charvel name, and those original San Dimas-built Charvel guitars of the late '70s/early '80s have become full blown collectibles today. In 2002 Fender Musical Instrument Corporation bought Charvel, and has preserved the tradition of high-performance guitars. We are proud to also carry many of the unique one-off guitars that are coming out of the Charvel Custom Shop, as well as the new USA Production Models.

This first of its kind Masterbuilt Series consists of 5 classic Charvel models that helped define this unique brand. Each and every detail on these guitars was replicated and reproduced using original tooling and techniques. This specific collection will be limited to only 20 pieces (globally) for each model and each guitar will come with a special certificate hand signed by Grover Jackson as well as Todd Krause, Mike Shannon, Tim Wilson, and Mike Eldred all of which were original employees of Charvel in the beginning and were part of the design and building of these historic reproductions.

This model is a San Dimas 1 x Humbucker 1 x Single Coil design guitar from a 2 piece Alder body and features a maple flat sawn Charvel Neck with Fender licensed headstock. The neck is typical old school Charvel - screaming playability. The 21 frets give the feel of just a tad more depth than a 22 fret model, subtle though it is. The bridge pickup is a classic JB SH4. The Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB Model is considered the world's most popular humbucking pickup, the archetype hot-rodded humbucker for over 30 years. The Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB Humbucker uses a completely balanced coil configuration to produce great harmonics and a high output with just the right blend of sustain and distortion. With the Seymour Duncan Humbucker you get the best of both worlds: from sweet warm tones to raw rock-and-roll. The neck pick up is a Seymour Duncan SSL-1, an exact replica of the original Alnico V Stratocaster¬ pickups. The same type of magnet wire is used, as well as the same number of coil windings. Every detail is included to duplicate the bell-like tone and the high-end bite that made the vintage Strat famous. In the neck, the pick up provides the player with authentic fat and warm Strat tones to contrast and compliment the JB in the bridge.

The guitar features New Old Stock brass tremolo systems and strap buttons for a true retro feel and look. Brass also resonates better than cheaper metals and thus is an excellent choice around string contact areas - ie the bridge. FJF 08/07/2010

It comes with a hard case and signed certificate confirming authenticity etc - it is signed by Grover Jackson and other master builders. The neck plate also has Grover Jacksons engraved signature on it.

Wear &Tear Report:
•Some fret wear on the 1st and 2nd frets
•A chip on the upper side where you rest your arm that has beend filled in with red paint
•A small scratch on the bottom edge near the control cavity
•Belt buckle rash probably from a studded belt in the 80's

The Good News:
•This guitar plays great. I set it up with D'Addario 10's two weeks ago and adjusted the action.
•There NO REPAIRS evident anywhere on the body or neck.
•Everything appears to be original...I am very familiar with Charvel guitars.
•Beside the fret wear on the first 2 frets, the frets are in great shape.
•These guitars have awesome jumbo frets and thin necks. Ibanez was trying to copy them with the wizard neck in the 80's. Get    the original Hot Rod Guitar!
•For an addition $90, I have a Charvel case from the same era which is square with a tweed finish and Charvel Logo. It in great shape. It currently holds another Charvel but if you want it, for $90, it's yours and I'll ship the guitar in it.
If purchased without the case, I will pack this guitar very well in a guitar shipping box.

Here we have this great guitar for your inspection.

It is in good used condition and all functions perfectly.

It is in overall good shape with a few marks from use. There are a few very light scratches as well as a couple of small bumps. The worst bump on one of the edges that cracked the finish in that spot and also dented the wood.

Guitar features 2 EMG pickups and a 22 fret neck. It has 2 springs in the back and more can be added. The tremolo works normally

It is thin and flat with light weight strat style body and 3 way switching.

I am not quite sure where it was made but the back plate shows USA (see photo). I will post a picture of the name plate with the serial, hopefully that can help out.

Bright red Charvel/Jackson bass guitar with Jackson active pick-ups. beautiful bass that has been rarely played and been in storage for a long time.

Super nice  and very rare especially in this condition LS-1 Charvel. It features an offset double cutaway asymmetrical bound carved mahogany body, set mahogany neck, 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. It has a bound blackface headstock with MOP(mother of pearl) inlay, 3 per side Jackson tuners, JT-390 Tune-O-Matic style bridge. The pickups are exposed Jackson humbuckers- J-50M neck, and J-92C bridge(one of Charvels hottest). Two knobs-one for volume and one for tone, 3 way switch for the pickups. Chrome hardware. Gold Top finish with cream binding.Made between 1993-1995 only. Includes Charvel hardshell case with all latches intact and fully functional. It only has a few microscopic flaws-very collectible condition! Here is a rare chance to purchase a very new looking rare & vintage CHARVEL LS-1 !!! No issues and all original !!! From a reputable seller !!! Thinning out the collection- just bought a 750XL so one of the other Charvels must go. I never played this one so it got picked to be sold.

Your looking at a mid 80s charvel model 2.  It has a small scratch on front just behind tremolo and one large chip as shown in picture # 9.  Frets show some wear but not much for 25 years.  Head stock is near perfect and sharp. It has a seymour duncan blackout 9 volt active humbucker,  JT6  floyd rose tremolo and locking nut. Comes with tremolo bar and a hard/soft case. zipper on case woks fine but it has a 6" section that is coming unsewn.  This guitar plays and sounds very well.  I describe all my products as honestly and accurately as i can. Mid 80s Charvel model 3.  It has a few scratches, mainly on th back, one ding on face just below the bridge. Still looks great for over twenty years old. Head stock and neck are near perfect, frets show very little ware. It appears to be original and unmolested. Has a JT6 Floyd Rose tremolo that stays in tune well, all electronics work with no problems. This guitar plays great, very easy and fast. Everything works as it should.
