Here is the deal on this limited run of Charvel Guitars.  I wanted to do something patriotic and cool for this upcoming 4th of July.  So I thought what better way than to do something with the Gadsden Flag with its famous bad ass American Rattle Snake coiled and ready to strike and the famous words "DONT TREAD ON ME".  So I went to Mike Learn and the Guys at the Charvel Custom Shop with the idea and they loved it.  This run is exclusive to Custom, Metal & Classic Guitars (CMC Guitars) so you wont find these anywhere else.  I built the guitar to my own personal specs to make a killer guitar that would go down in Charvel History.   So I threw in a few twists.  Once they are gone, that is it.  I have to apologize to anyone that wants #3 NEW JERSEY.  Being from New Jersey I had to keep that one for myself.  If someone really, really wants it, contact me and persuade me to part with it. 

I chose to use Basswood for the body of the guitar as I love the punch it has.  I threw in another twist and which is a first for Charvel.  I am using a single Humbucking Pickup in the bridge position made by the British company "Bareknuckle Pickups".  These guitars will have a single Bareknuckle - Holy Diver Pickup.  Now I know what you are thinking.  You are thinking; "How the hell can I put a British pickup in this guitar celebrating the United States Independence from the British"?  Well, I thought that even though the US fought the British for independence that many patriots were in fact of British descent or even born in England so to have a little of Brittan in the guitar seemed only appropriate.  And we are all friends now anyway.  Plus, if you've never played a Bareknuckle pickup you don't know what you are missing.  Each of these Holy Diver pickups were hand wired & scatter wound like Seymour Duncan used to do.  So these Bareknuckle Holy Divers sound like an old vintage Duncan JB.  They can't be beat.  The guitars all feature an Original Floyd Rose, Abalone Dot Inlays, Matching Yellow Headstock with Black Charvel Logo, Brass Side Dot Inlays, and each guitar is individually signed and numbered by Mike Learn, one for each of the original 13 colonies that became states.  Mike thought that putting the date that colony became a state on the back of the guitar above the back cover plate adds a nice touch.  I thought it was a great idea.  So you the first guitar is #1 Delaware - Dec 7, 1787 and the last and thirteenth guitar is #13 Rhode Island - May 29, 1790.

Each guitar comes with an officially supplied G & G hard case that is Black with Yellow Ends.
