For Sale: 1980's Made in Japan Charvel Jackson model 1A. This is one with a maple fretboard and the non locking standard type tremello. Not sure if this is the original paint job but it is a dark metallic midnight blue color. The inside cavity of the trem is red and there are some nicks on the guitar than show traces of red underneath the blue finish. If it's not the original finish, it was done very professionally. It has been customized with a metal chrome mirror pickgaurd. This is not a plastic mirror pickgaurd!, it is made of metal! It also has two non original humbuckers, the bridge pickup is a PAF type the says "Powered by Lace" on it. The neck pickup looks like a Dim@rzio but I'm not exactly sure if it is. Both pickups sound very good in this guitar and the controls are vol., tone, tone and a three way Les Paul type toggle switch. The guitar plays and sounds excellent and plays more like a hard tail with 5 springs on the trem but the guitar comes with a non original trem arm but I have personally have never used it. This is a very cool customized Charvel!, Grab this before it's gone!
