Mechanicsburg (PA).  The Wrays have been in music retail as a family
since 1955 - musicians serving musicians for three generations.  We look
over and set up (if needed for basic playability) each guitar before
listing/selling.  Since we are a real "brick & mortar" music shop -
not a warehouse - we hold regular retail hours and are open to the

This is a used Charvel electric guitar made in Japan - with hard shell case.  We bought this from a customer that visited our shop.  It was hard to find info for the guitar, but I lifted this from a forum where this guitar was being discussed.  The previous owner we bought it from thinks its a 1988. 

That is a 1988 Charvel Model 4M. It was made in Japan for only one
year. So, it is not a USA Charvel. The Charvel Model series are some of
the best import guitars ever built. It has a JE-1200 mid-boost (I think
it is the 1200), the mid-boost circuit is active but the pickups are
passive. Maple neck with maple board, basswood body, Volume - Tone -
Mid-boost, three on/off toggles, and a Jackson JT-6 Floyd Rose.

The guitar comes with what is affectionately known as the "chainsaw case."  We looked the guitar over before we purchased it and it looks like there's only 1 noticeable blemish on the upper right of the guitar, with some cracks in the poly finish around where the neck meets the body.  These are just 2 surface cracks on both sides of the neck by the body.  I have pics that document the blemish on the upper horn and the 2 cracks.  PUPs are 2 Jackson single coils and a DiMarzio Mega Drive in the bridge.  The original manual for the Model 4M is included in the case - as can be seen in the pics.  The guitar is definitely a player - and Charvel enthusiasts will appreciate the axe!  As always, feel free to call our shop w/ any questions.  We will honor a 7 day return period for this guitar.  Refunds are the cost of the guitar purchased minus any shipping fees to or from our location.
