Note: A bona fide "Original Run" Charvel Model Series Model 4, hard to find in this very good condition and unrivaled playability. 
Much is made of the term "Original Run". When it comes to import Charvel Model Series guitars, it really means something. The earliest guitars made in the Model Series, those made very early in the 1986 model year, are simply different than all those guitars that followed. How different? First and foremost difference is that all the California luthiers and production workers that were sent overseas by Grover Jackson to help in the initial production were right there in Nagano, Japan overseeing the work and training the Japanese employees. More tangible differences are things like the smooth-top non-logo'd Jackson pickups, ever so slightly more slender neck profile, the use of a black plastic cap (not just painted as on all models that followed) on the face of the headstock, and no gasket between the neck plate and body. This guitar passes all those tests. It's an authentic "Original Run" in near mint condition. 
This guitar plays like a screamin' Banshee! She wants to play. It's got all the right parts, and they all work perfectly together. Three Jackson humbuckers really crank it out. A conventional side-by-side J50BC humbucker in the bridge with two bi-level stacked J200 humbuckers in the neck and middle positions. Three on/off pickup selector switches permit you to dial in to what ever finite tonal properties you're going after at any given moment. Immense added dimension comes by way of the JE-1200 Pre-Amp, controlled by the third knob .... that knob closest to the jack.
This guitar has a few cosmetic flaws, but it is in very good condition for being one of the oldest Charvel Model Series guitars ever made. Please examine the extra-large photographs carefully. Any flaw that can be found on the body is simply in the paint. Nothing goes down to the refrigerator white base coat nor down to the wood. There are no neck pocket cracks whatsoever. None of the hardware is bent or broken. The famous Charvel pointy headstock is in very good shape.The frets have plenty of life left. For being 25 years old, this guitar is in very good shape.
