Since 1987, I have only seen two of these guitars, Model 1Cs in Electric Blue. And I owned both. One was sold not too long ago right here on eBay, the other is for sale in this auction. You simply will not find an Electric Blue 1C that plays this great!
This is a rare guitar. For some time, many people thought that the Model 1C was only released in Japan and never the USA. Reality was that only a limited amount were sold in the US market but they are very hard to find. Not only is this a rare Model, this is a rare color. On the few days that one can find a Model 1C, it is never in Electric Blue. Though it is one of the most sought-after finishes from the Charvel Model Series in aftermarket, not many Electric Blue guitars were made in any Model. 
This guitar gives you all the sound you want without the hassle of restringing, setting up and intonating a Floyd Rose. You can restring this guitar in under 3 minutes and be in tune and playing in under 5. You get the bite of the J90C but you also get the versatility of the single-coils. You get a myriad of sounds to play with and differentiate tone. It's like having 5 guitars in one.

On top of that, the guitar is in very good shape. It's a nice axe in very nice condition. The body has a few very minor impacts, but not an abundance, nor any of them serious. The maple neck is perfectly smooth and beautifully bright. The famous Charvel pointy headstock is perfect....as in perfect. No chips in wood or paint on either side of the headstock, which is not all that common for a 23-year-old guitar.
Most importantly, it can play. Really play. And it's a comfortable guitar. You will not be disappointed. Think I'm kidding? I recently got this email from the winning bidder of the first Electric Blue Model 1C that I sold on eBay:
"mitch this is the first charvel by jackson i have ever laid my hands on and i must say i am very impressed. i have a feeling it will become my main axe. if i had a buyer i would probably sell all my other guitars. it takes us old guys a while to get around to trying these kind of guitars. always seen them but didn't think i would like them. anyway thanks for a great end to a great buying experience."
Again, this is rare. This was only made ONE year. It is a 1988 Model 1C and Electric Blue! Simply put - it's the most expensive iteration of the Model 1s, and it is well worth the investment. Buy it now.
***Additionally, there is an original, factory-correct CMC-100 SafeCase available (more commonly referred to as a "Chainsaw Case") to the winning bidder for an additional $85 - at the bidder/winner's option. The case has three of four latches and all back hinges, though one is loose.
