RARE Jackson Charvel Model 88 Righty Lefty

Specs:

Serial # 0499
Jackson JT6 Trem (an OFR will fit in there if you're curious).
MOP Sharkie (Sharkfin) inlays
J95C high output ceramic pickup
Reverse headstock
7/8 Dinky body (soloist style mahogany body)
Jackson tuners
22 frets
Extra Jumbo fretwire
African Ribbon Mahogany (Solid Piece not a tri piece, as most solid guitars are.) (Banned material now)
Rosewood fingerboard (very Dark and excellent grain)
Maple neck, scarf jointed
Tobacco Sunburst only finish available
aprox. 12 lbs.

1000 produced, 500 Japanese market, 500 export.I've also read not all 1000 were made due to a fire in the factory. (This is not official, maybe as few as 750 produced).

The guitar was a mid year contest promo, it is not in the
'88 Jackson/Charvel catalog.

Condition:

Neck is excellent and perfect, fast straight and has the Extra Jumbo frets which show some wear, but plenty of life left. Headstock shows minor dings only on back and twords tip. No chipping or missing wood. Front is Excellent. Machines work wonderful as string locking clamps on headstock. Body has some finish missing and dings some dents and scuffing. No deep scratches. Prior owner must have played with some kind of bracelet for the finish to be missing as it is in the two spots shown. A bit of finish missing by input jack. Please view pics to confirm. Has a scuff on pickup plastic cover. There is also a spot of finish missing on bottom of guitar. I want to let buyer know all nothing to hide here. Guitar is clean, clean, clean. All parts and pieces have been cleaned, including lemon oil on fret board. Case is worn all latches work.

Final :

All orginal, no mods even though it is currently a lefty.
I can turn it back to righty in 1/2 hour easily, i flipped it so i could play. This makes a good lefty for the volume knob is not in the way of the arm. If buyer is righty I'll flip it righty, Lefty I'll leave it be. Just let me know Thanks.

Oh, it is a bit heavy, but ranks with higher end Jacksons for playability. Neck has a shallow radius making it extremely easy to play. Has Tremolo bar and original case.
