Many thanks to my eBay friends around the world for the kind emails, smooth repeat transactions and most of all your trust in me.

No one has written me about this but I decided to go ahead and put this info at the top of the auction in an effort to explain the $55 shipping.

• It's challenging to ship properly and inexpensively these days as the major carriers have all increased their rates across the board.
• The "billable weight" protocol that has been adopted has close to doubled the basic shipping cost.
• A std. guitar box no longer weighs what it weighs it is now assigned a "billable weight" ---> - click here for eBay shipping info
• Adding to this basic starting point, Guitar Center and many other stores don't give away boxes like they used to.
• So we're paying $14 - sometimes up to $18 for guitar boxes unless we buy them in bulk which we haven't done but will try to do soon.
• Then bubble and popcorn which is not cheap...so it's easily $ 20-25 to pro pack nowadays (to do it right)
• Then you add the actual shipping cost which as I say has gone up everywhere recently.
• We're in NY so if the winning bidder is on the West Coast ...well it's minimum $35 and honestly closer to $45 fully insured.
• So when you add it up...at $55 we're usually right at the edge or over our budget.

Rare Clean Vintage Charvel Model 4 w. Original Case...

• 1988 Charvel Jackson Model 4.
• As I understand it was made in for only one year.
• The Charvel Model 4 series are some of the best
  import guitars ever built.
• It has a JE-1200 mid-boost (I think it is the
  1200), the mid-boost circuit is active but the pickups are passive.
• Volume - Tone - Mid-boost,
  three on/off toggles, and a Jackson JT-6 Floyd Rose

• Superb Clean Closet Classic Condition
• Beautiful Rosewood Fingerboard
• Figured Flame Maple Back.
• Shows Minor Honest Wear For  It's Age
• Three minor dings on the back of the neck shown in pics
• The original silver gray form fit period case is in just fair condition with two latches missing and bent plastic etc.. (*since the guitar is so clean I don't believe this is the case it came with)
• Overall Very High Quality Craftsmanship
• Ready For Many More Years Of Service
